“Head Trip” Doggie Diner Jamboree Photos

Yesterday’s Doggie Diner Jamboree “Head Trip” documentary screening was a huge success, with three sold-out screening. Lori and I spent the whole day there catching up with friends and shooting some photos. Here’s my full gallery of photos.

The event took place at the beautiful new arts facility Rythmix Cultural Works in Alameda (see my previous post). It was great to finally get a chance to check out the place and see all the great work that artistic director Janet Koike and her staff have been doing with space and in the local community.

Jon Sarriugarte was there with some of his wonderful fire art, including a Zen Fire Garden and his new Desert Flower. I also finally got a chance to see his awesome new Boiler Bar, which would be great for the next Laughing Squid event.

Our good friend Phat Man Dee, a veteran of numerous past Laughing Squid shows, flew in from Pittsburgh just for the event. It was great catching up with her. She has a new CD out “Torch Of Blue”, featuring some of her amazing Jazz music.
