Animator Dante Zaballa recruited 62 illustrators and 14 musicians for his collaborative animation, “The Doodle Project.” Zaballa created a simple 18-second loop of a stick figure, and then gave the illustrators individual frames to rework, resulting in a frenetic animation in which the figure is transforming frame by frame. The completed loop was then handed over to the musician collaborators, who each contributed a soundtrack (the loop repeats 14 times in the final animation).
