The Brainwash Movie Festival takes place this Friday, July 7th and Saturday, July 8th in Oakland. Now in its 12th year, this year’s format is a drive-in, bike-in, walk-in movie festival, featuring two days of unique and creative short films.

You’ll eat up this year’s bumper crop of movies, featuring cabbages, pumpkins, several mothers, death by other devices, puppetry, horror, action, stop-action, and (of course) animation. Featuring the Rhythmic Revolution, live and in person.
When: Friday & Saturday, July 7th & 8th, 2006. shows at 9:00 p.m.

How: Sit in your car, or on a chair (yours or ours), and watch movies “magically” projected onto a giant screen. Sound is broadcast into your car or boom box using the wonder of frequency modulation (“FM”) â€” in stereo!
