WonderCon 2007

I stopped by the comics and pop culture mega conference WonderCon 2007 today for a couple of hours and while there shot a few photos. The great costumes were out in force this year. Of course there was the ever-popular Elvis Trooper as well as other Star Wars costumes, but I think my favorites this year were the Knights of the Round Table from Monty Python and the Holy Grail and HR Giger’s Alien, who eventually crossed paths with the Johnny Depp version of Willy Wonka. While wandering around WonderCon, you can often find minor celebrities. Today came across Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca), Noel Neill (the original Lois Lane) and Jon Provost (Timmy Martin from Lassie).

Good shots. My 4-yr old saw the Star Trek figurines and said “Look, it’s the Wiggles”. If you haven’t seen, it’s hard to disagree. Makes you wonder how much was on purpose? http://images.search.yahoo.com/search/images/view?back=http%3A%2F%2Fimages.search.yaho
