ThinCloud Twitter For iPhone Application

Ok, I just updated my iPhone apps post about this, but I decided that this app deserves it’s own write-up. ThinCloud just released a really awesome Twitter for iPhone application developed by Bryan Wood of New Leaders. It totally rocks. The interface is great and it uses SSL to encrypt the login (all mobile apps should do this).

Also, I really love the direct replies feature which shows everyone who posted an @youruser, grouping them all together on the same page (including people I’m not following). Now I can see everyone’s responses I’ve been missing all along.

UPDATE: Eric has just let me know that Twitter has the replies feature on their website as well (either it is new or I must have missed it before), but it’s nice to have access to this from the iPhone a well in an really easy to read format.

Yeah, it should. Works on any Webkit-based browser. iPhone, iPod Touch, Safari 3 for OSX or WinXP, and the new Google Chrome browser.
