Submergence, A Virtual Reality-Style Matrix of LED Lights

Submergence by Squidsoup

“Submergence” is an interactive installation of 8,064 LED lights that are suspended in a matrix that fills a gallery space. Viewers can walk through the installation as the lights change color and form brilliant patterns, for an experience reminiscent of virtual reality. Designed by the Squidsoup art group, the installation is on display at ROM for Kunst og Arkitektur in Oslo through February 17, 2013.
