‘Street,’ A Slow Motion Look at New York Life

Street by James Nares is an hour-long, unscripted video of New Yorkers going about their everyday business in slow motion. Nares’ work is currently part of an exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art running from March 5th to May 27th, 2013.

I wanted the film to be about people. All it needed were magical moments, and there are enough of those happening every moment of any given day.
