Sad Kermit, The Dark Side of Kermit The Frog

by Scott Beale on April 1, 2007 · 0 comments

Sad Kermit explores the dark side of Kermit The Frog with covers of Nine Inch Nails’ “Hurt” (Johnny Cash style), Radiohead’s “Creep” and several other songs full of pain and sorrow delivered with nasal clarity from a dejected green felt Muppet.

Soon after the death of Jim Henson, Kermit the Frog turned to a life full of drugs, alcohol and sex. His fall to rock-bottom was quick and unrelenting. These songs document Kermit’s pain during these years…and years to come.
