Gary Gygax

MIT hackers recently paid tribute to Dungeons & Dragons co-founder Gary Gygax (who passed away earlier this month) by erecting a giant 20-sided die in the popluar hack zone Killan Court. Eric Schmiedl shot some great photos of the installation.

Someone really needs to redo this in bronze or something. Cheap fabric poorly sewn together and sagging over a frame just doesn’t really do the man justice.

Oh come on Colin, of course it does, just think of all the bad LARP costumes you’ve seen :)
Having said that. I’d love to see it done in Bronze, though once the party find out how much it’s worth in GP they’ll be figuring out ways to get it onto the cart :)
