When this luxury penthouse in Guadalajara, Mexico was remodeled in 2006, an unused elevator shaft was converted into a glass-floored bathroom. Visitors to the bathroom can look down the elevator shaft—15 stories down. The penthouse was designed by Guadalajara-based Hernandez Silva Arquitectos.
