Catnip: Egress to Oblivion?, A Classroom Drug Education Film

Arizona-based Jason Willis wrote and directed Catnip: Egress to Oblivion?, a great short narrated by Terry Easley about catnip done in the style of 1970s drug education films. It’s 7 minutes of old school awesome! Interestingly, Willis was a child actor in a 1977 Halloween safety film that was later remixed by Rev. Al of The Art of Bleeding. We posted that remix film in 2009 in Art of Bleeding: Halloween Safety Remixed, The Spirits of Safety Show & Gory Details Video Series.

Catnip is all the rage with today’s modern feline, but do we really understand it?

Is it a source for harmless kicks, or a potentially crippling addiction? Is it a tool to expand one’s consciousness, or a downward spiraling path that can eventually lead to insanity?

Once and for all the facts about this controversial substance are frankly discussed, in the long-lost drug educational film that never-was, “Catnip: Egress to Oblivion?”.
