Caboodle Ranch a 100 acre cat sanctuary created by Craig Grant in 2003 that is located Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. It is now home to over 500 happy cats.

Cats should be able to roam free, and at Caboodle Ranch, that’s what they do. We are in the middle of 100 acres of wildlife. The cats follow me through the nature trails that I put in and maintain, they climb in tree forts that I’ve built and hide in underground dens I’ve dug for them.

Caboodle Ranch is currently facing some financial hardships. If you would like help out the ranch and it’s feline residents thrive, you can make a donation or buy some merchandise.

If those were indeed, indubitably, ahem, in fact, felines facing financial hardships, they would be eating safeway or von’s ‘day old sale’ donuts. If I’m not mistaken, I saw a flabby tabby or two. Or twelve. They best get together in that city hall of theirs and start scratching and clawing until they come up with a solution.

(I can already see the toon-infused triumvirate of Chuck Jones, Friz Freleng and Mel Blanc sketching this in heaven)

One day I came home from school and my mommy told me our sick kitty “went to live in the country.” Now I know it was true!

I hope he keeps them all spayed/neutered! It would be ridiculous if he kept the population purposefully growing!

Craig has strict requirements for entry to the ranch: having all their shots updated and to be spayed and neutered, tested for feline Leukemia. A couple of misquotes that started with the video; it is a 30 acre ranch not 100 acres, but the area itself is in the middle of 100 acres or rural woods, and Craig has around 220 cats at the ranch. The ranch runs soley on donations being a non profit charity organization. Originaly he had put all the money he had from his business into the land to establish the ranch and the grounds. Doughnut time is a special time where the cats gather with Craig and take a break from the days chores. He opens his box of doughnuts and shares pieces with the few who enjoy them but by no means is he opening up dozens of boxes for the cats to eat. He hads out Pounce treats to them as he eats his doughnuts, so they all enjoy a snack :-) Its a magical place filled with love and a saf haven for these previously abandoned cats.
