Last Gasp Holiday Party 2007

Tonight was “Burritos, Beer & Cheer 2007”, the annual Last Gasp holiday party and fundraiser for St. Martin de Porres House of Hospitality. Last Gasp is a legendary underground comics and books publisher & distributor, whose office in San Francisco is full of curious artifacts, circus sideshow banners and original art. I’ve been going for years and it is by far the best holiday party of the season. Here are a few photos that I shot tonight at the party.

In recent years V. Vale of RE/Search Publications sits down at the piano in the big room with all of the art and plays music. Here’s a video of Vale on the piano.
