UnGrounded, A British Airways Hackathon at 30,000 Feet

Today British Airways in partnership with the United Nations’ International Telecommunication Union and the DNA (Decide Now Act) Summit announced UnGrounded, a hackathon that will take place at 30,000 feet on a flight from San Francisco to London. One hundred CEOs, founders, venture capitalists, and others chosen by the UnGrounded advisory board will be tasked with solving the “global misalignment of talent” — the idea that the number of available opportunities doesn’t always match the number of qualified individuals. The UnGrounded hackathon flight will take place this summer, and when participants land in London they will present their work at the DNA Summit on June 13th, 2013.
