Host Tom Scott (previously) takes a trip to the sidewalks of New York City to explain why there are tanks of liquid nitrogen sitting around unattended on the streets.

It turns out they belong to one of the phone companies. There’s a lot of steam underground in New York from municipal heating systems and water pipes, and those phone wires can get very wet and fall apart.
