The EYEteleporter is a large head-mounted periscope mask designed by London-based artist Juste Kostikovaite that lets wearers view things from a number of new angles, including above and behind their heads. The massive mask, which is currently seeking funding on Kickstarter, is made from from corrugated cardboard and acrylic mirrors and is purposely designed to look a bit odd.
Our goal while designing it was to make it convenient for play for a long time. Also – to look beautiful and weird externally, which was not necessary but preferable.
Kostikovaite is also working on the EYEteleporter Scooter, a wheeled transport device that lets riders see things around their ankles.
