The Alternative Press Expo (APE), a showcase of alternative and small press comics, takes place October 4th and 5th, 2014 at the Fort Mason Center in San Francisco. This year’s event will include a wide array of comics-themed panels, workshops, exhibitors, and special guests. Badges are available for purchase online. APE is presented by Comic-Con International.
The Alternative Press Expo—better and more fondly known as APE—returns to San Francisco on October 4 and 5 in a brand new venue: the Festival Pavilion at Fort Mason Center. With over 6,100 attendees in 2013, APE once again brought the very best of alternative and small press comics to the Bay Area. The event’s long-time venue, the Concourse Exhibition Center, is slated to close this year, making 2013 the last year for APE at that location.
