According to South Korean news outlet Kyunghyang Shinmun, a robotic vacuum cleaner attacked a 52-year-old woman when it began sucking up her hair and she was unable to free herself. The woman called emergency services who were able to free the her unharmed by taking the robot apart and untangling her hair.
It is unclear exactly how the woman’s hair was in a position to become entangled in the robot in the first place, but perhaps the incident could serve as a cautionary tale for other robot vacuum cleaner owners.
