Photographer Uses an Industrial Robot to Create Ultra High Resolution Portraits from 600 Photographs

For his ” Face Cartography ” project, photographer Daniel Boschung creates ultra-high resolution portraits composed of about 600 individual photographs (about 900 million pixels in total) for his “Face Cartography” project. Rather than take the photos himself, Boschung employs an industrial robot, which can complete the process in about 30 minutes. Zoomable versions of the photos are on his website.
