Petman, An Anthropomorphic Robot That Tests Chemical Suits

Petman is an anthropomorphic robot created by Boston Dynamics and funded by the US Department of Defense’s Chemical and Biological Defense program for the purpose of stress testing protective clothing. The robot simulates human physiology by regulating its own temperature and even sweating. In this video, Petman tests a chemical protection suit and gas mask, and has sensors to detect if any chemicals seep inside.
