A suburban home appears to be embedded in the forecourt of the Art Gallery of South Australia in Adelaide in the installation “Landed” by artist Ian Strange. The all-black structure is a recreation of the 1920s-era suburban Australian house where Strange spent his childhood. We previously posted about “Suburban,” Strange’s series in which he converted suburban homes into art installations. “Landed” is on display at the 2014 Adelaide Biennial of Australian Art through May 11, 2014.
