“La Loteria” is a short Spanish language romantic comedy directed by New York City filmmaker Shahir Daud that stars Puerto Rican actor Ismael Cruz Córdova as a man looking back on his life’s regrets as he waits to board a plane to the United States. The short is based on Daud’s own life.
