On November 14th, 2014 Sesame Street and the BBC are launching the new children’s show The Furchester Hotel starring Cookie Monster, Elmo, and a cast of new characters. The show is set in a fictional English hotel run by monsters where the staff helps the guests solve problems.
Unfortunately Cookie Monster’s friend John Oliver has some bad news about life in the United Kingdom — there are no cookies. At least the people there don’t call them cookies, but Cookie doesn’t seem quite ready to change his name to Biscuit Monster.
Previously, John Oliver helped Cookie Monster deliver a word-themed news broadcast on Sesame Street.
