iCub

iCub is a humanoid robotic child created by the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia that is capable of communicating emotions through its facial movements and speech patterns–such as the joy and frustration it expresses while playing a round of Pong. The advanced robot has 53 motors to move its head, arms, hands, waist, and legs, and it can see, hear, and sense its own movements.
