Iconic Buildings of Portland, Oregon Modeled in GingerbreadDecember 22, 2014Rebecca Escamilla Portland, Oregon-based artist Brittany Powell of Low-Commitment Projects has once again cooked up art with food in her recent project, Gingerbread Portland. Powell created iconic buildings of Portland instead of the exact skyline to make them instantly recognizable. She put together all the gingerbread pieces in one night, then painstakingly piped icing details on each building.
