How to Build a Simple Wave Machine With Duct Tape, Skewers, and Jelly Babies

Teacher and science writer Alom Shaha presents a demonstration on how to build a simple wave machine out of duct tape, skewers, and Jelly Babies. The device only takes a few minutes to build, and can be used to demonstrate wave phenomena in a classroom.

Although the example uses Jelly Babies, anything that adds mass to the system can be used instead, but Doctor Who fans will likely want to stick with the original design.

The video was posted by The National STEM Centre in the United Kingdom as an example of their teaching resources.
