Hotello, A Portable Sleep & Work Space That Packs into a Trunk

Hotello portable room

Hotello is a portable work and sleep space that packs into a trunk. The 43 square foot cubicle is surrounded by a sound absorbent curtain and contains a small desk, stool, and bed. It is intended to provide a private room in a large indoor space such as a warehouse. Hotello was designed by architect Antonio Scarponi and artist Roberto de Luca for Swiss design firm Das Konzept. It will be presented at Fuori Salone 2013 in Milan, April 9 to 14, 2013.
