Taiwanese artist Tu Wei-Cheng set up his Happy Valentine’s Day installation, a heart-filled fake shop that offers beautifully displayed chocolate tanks, guns and hand grenades. He even lined the store’s walls in pink wallpaper that features silhouetted military vehicles. He’s quoted at the White Rabbit Gallery site as asking, “Are we so suspicious and dissatisfied with our current cultural utopia that we are unwilling to risk believing in the uncertainties of the modern world?”. Happy Valentine’s Day is currently exhibiting at White Rabbit’s Double Take show in Sydney, Australia.
