Google-Owned Schaft Shows off a New Bipedal Robot That Enjoys Long Walks on the Beach

Schaft, a robotics company owned by Google, recently showed off their new bipedal robot. The bot seems to have exceptional balance as it maneuvers across different terrain including a lovely stroll along a rocky beach. The compact design and low center of gravity help the robot handle stairs, the outdoors, obstacles, and even snow.

The robot was unveiled at the New Economic Summit Tokyo on April 8, 2016.
