In honor of National Peanut Day, Southwest Airlines and Dish Trip teamed up for Food Flight, an in-flight culinary competition announced and created for the unsuspecting passengers of a recent flight to Denver, Colorado. Watch in this video as four ‘courageous’ passengers are selected by crew members, including Southwest’s media person Brooks Thomas, and are asked to concoct their own dishes using peanuts as the featured ingredient. They were inspired by the flight I took earlier this year, where Mandy, our flight attendant, had the passengers make dishes using foods and beverages only found in the airplane’s galley.
