The currently defunct Flappy Bird mobile game by developer Dong Nguyen is scheduled to return in August with a new multiplayer mode according to CNBC’s Kelly Evans. Nguyen also told Evans that the game will be less addictive.
Flappy Bird received an intense burst of popularity in early 2014, and this caused its creator to eventually pull the app from both Apple’s App Store and Google Play on February 10th.
