Japanese researchers at Tohoku University and Hachinohe Institute of Technology worked together to develop the Dragon Firefighter, a flying robot snake capable of extinguishing fires by wiggling into tight, dangerous spaces. The life saving snake is able to fly in the air by firing strong jets of water downward.
