“Face It Tiger” is a song by Waco, Texas-based indie rock band Married With Sea Monsters based on the Marvel comic Edge of Spider-Verse #2. In the comic — which is part of an overarching Spider-Man event — Gwen Stacy plays in a band fronted by Mary Jane Watson that’s aptly named The Mary Janes, and “Face It Tiger” is the song that the group plays in the panels. The name of the song references Watson’s first words to Peter Parker in November 1966’s The Amazing Spider-Man #42 — “Face it, Tiger… you just hit the jackpot!”
