The vinyl version of Extraterrestria, the new album by DJ Qbert, features an interactive, playable set of MIDI turntable decks that lets listeners scratch them when connected to a smartphone via Bluetooth.
Touching the paper connects to the Algoriddim DJAY app, allowing the user to scratch, mix and fade any songs they load into the software.
The innovative cover, designed by Brooklyn creative house Morning Breath, was made possible through a round of Kickstarter funding.
