DropTag is a small Bluetooth sensor that monitors whether a package has been dropped or damaged during transit. The recipient of a DropTag-equipped package can use a companion smartphone app to determine if the package was mishandled without opening it. The DropTag system is being developed by UK product development firm, Cambridge Consultants.
