Egg

By Easter, Choco Treasure chocolate toy-filled surprise eggs will be on the shelves of U.S. retailers. These toy-filled Swiss milk chocolate eggs are created in the style of Kinder Surprise eggs, which are illegal in the United States because they are considered a choking hazard (and carry a hefty fine). The folks at Choco Treasure’s New Jersey-based makers, Candy Treasure, carefully designed their surprise eggs to pass the rigid FDA standards set in 1938. Choco Treasure eggs are currently available to purchase online. FoodBeast has more of the story.
