Chewbacca Mom Carpools With James Corden and J.J. Abrams and Gets a Surprise From Peter Mayhew

On a recent episode of The Late Late Show, the cheerful “Chewbacca Mom” Candace Payne had a good time in her van carpooling with host James Corden and receiving valuable Wookiee tips from Star Wars: The Force Awakens director J.J. Abrams.

Candace later received a lovely surprise from Chewbacca himself, Peter Mayhew. He sent a personal message thanking Candace for her uplifting video and offered her VIP passes to meet and hang out with him at an upcoming convention in Candace’s home town.
