Bikinilines, Project to Create World’s Largest Painting in the Bikini Atoll

Bikinilines is an ambitious collaborative project to paint the world’s largest painting on the Cactus Dome, a Cold War-era radioactive containment dome in the Bikini Atoll.

The project will also be the subject of a documentary film—proceeds from the film will benefit Ashinaga, a charity that supports the education of orphans. Organizers Christian Forestell and Chad Parrish are turning to the Internet to find an artist to design the painting, as well as a photographer, writer, and filmmaker to document the project.
