Bass Structures, Paintings Created with Sound

“Bass Structures” is a series of intriguing abstract paintings that are created with the help of sound. To make the paintings, collaborators Emmanuel Fritz and Collin Schipper place various painting mediums on to a speaker, and then subject the medium to intense sound frequencies as they drip paint on the surface.
