A Printable Lamp That Assembles Itself When Heated

Researchers at Harvard University recently demonstrated a printable lamp concept that assembles itself when heated at the 2014 IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation (ICRA) in Hong Kong, China. Not every component of the lamp comes straight out of the printer, but the sensors, the structure of the lamp itself, the self-folding bits, and a majority of the wiring involved do.
