Omar Broadway Shot 6 Months of Video While In Prison to Make HBO Documentary
Inmate Omar Broadway managed to sneak a video camera into Northern State Prison in Newark, NJ and shot footage in prison for 6 months inside the Bloods Gang Unit. Omar worked with Douglas Tirola on the “outside” to turn the video into the documentary “An Omar Broadway Film”, which premiers on HBO this summer.
