‘Colors of World Flags’, An Art Print Organizing 272 Different World Flags by Color Combinations
Chicago-based web developer and artist Nicholas Rougeux of C82 has created “Colors of World Flags,” an art print “organizing 272 different world flag by color combinations.” A breakdown of how Rougeux created his wonderful art print is available to view on his blog. Prints are available to purchase online from Zazzle.
Flags are arranged by the most common combinations of colors. Colors and combinations are arranged in a spectrum-like order: red, orange, yellow, green, and blue, with black and white at the end. The more flags that have a combination of colors, the higher that combination appears above the others. Countries, dependent territories, and autonomous regions are included.
