Massive Blacklight Star Wars Lightsaber Battle in Toronto

Inspired by a similar event at Burning Man and Seattle’s Cardboard Tube Fighting League, unique event producers Newmindspace organized a massive Lightsaber Battle last Friday in Toronto, featuring 1600 cardboard tubes sprayed with fluorescent neon paint and illuminated by 6 ultraviolet blacklight canons. Over 3,000 people gathered to do battle under the Crystal (resembling a Jawa Sandcrawler) at the Royal Ontario Museum. Here are a great write-up on the event by Torontoist.
