‘The Fifth Beatle’, A Graphic Novel About The Beatles’ Manager Brian Epstein

Released in November 2013, The Fifth Beatle: The Brian Epstein Story (available on Amazon) is a graphic novel biography of The Beatles’ famed manager Brian Epstein written by New York City-based theater producer Vivek Tiwary, with art by Andrew Robinson and former Plastic Man cartoonist, Kyle Baker. The story explores Epstein’s struggles with homophobia and anti-Semitism, culminating with his untimely death at age 32, as the manager of the most successful band in the world. The graphic novel has already been optioned for a film adaptation with Down With Love director Peyton Reed signed on.
