Rhythmix Cultural Works Grand Opening

Rhythmix Cultural Works

Rhythmix Cultural Works is an amazing new center for performing and visual arts in Alameda. The facility is based on the vision of Janet Koike, founder of the world music ensemble Rhythmix, when she was “inspired to create a place that would bring communities together through the arts”. RCW is having its grand opening event this Saturday, June 2nd. Advance tickets are now on sale.

Join us for a FREE family event from 11-4pm including performances, food, kids’ activities, and a great silent auction/raffle in a festival atmosphere! Featuring performances by the Alameda High School Jazz Band and Chipman Middle School Drum Corps.

In the evening there will be a fundraising performance featuring some of the Bay Area’s finest performing artists including Brenda Wong Aoki, The SF Mime Troupe, Bay Area Theater Sports Improv, Halau Makana and more! Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door.
