In its first year, the 2013 San Francisco Bacon and Beer Festival is bringing together bacon-based dishes from over 45 different local restaurants and pairing them with beers from breweries in the area. The event, presented by Eat Boston and Bay Area brewery Bison Organic Beer, happens Sunday, August 25th from 2:30pm to 5:00pm at the Fairmont SF Hotel in San Francisco, California and proceeds benefit Sprouts Cooking Club. While in its first year in the San Francisco Bay Area, the festival has seen great sold-out success several years running in Boston and Denver. Tickets are available now.
