Ben Wiggins of Timelapse, Inc. created Very Little Stars, an incredible time-lapse video of nature and cityscapes scenes which he captured using his Canon 5D Mark III digital SLR camera. Ben used a technique known as hyperlapse, which is basically when the camera is moving at decently sized distances while stills are shot at regular intervals to create very smooth sweeping shots when played back. There are some really great examples of hyperlapse at about the 1:25 point of the Very Little Stars video. We have previously written about Ben Wiggins and his great collection of time-lapse videos.
