Artist Olek recently created a series of crocheted yarn installations at a most unusual venue: The Museo Subacuatico de Arte, an underwater art museum of the coast of Cancun, Mexico. As part of the installation, Olek covered bomb-shaped sculptures at the museum in colorful yarn. She also unleashed divers wearing crocheted body suits, mermaid costumes, and butterfly wings (local whale sharks can be seen in many of the photos). Olek has more photos of the installations on her Instagram account.
