Tiki Oasis 7, Hawaii A Go Go takes place August 16-19 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in San Diego (rooms are still available). Produced by Tiki News (Otto von Stroheim from Tiki News was one of our DJ’s at Paradise Lost), Tiki Oasis is an annual weekend long celebration of all things tiki, including exotica and surf music. Check out their great line of up entertainment and tiki vendors. Here’s the full schedule.

A gathering of the tribes for Tiki lovers, featuring live entertainment, Tiki bazaar with over 40 vendors, costume contests, educational symposiums, burlesque, go go dancers, live Tiki carving, Tiki tours, and more! Imagine tropical cocktails such as Zombies or Pirate Grogs are served poolside so you don’t have to leave the comfort of your chaise lounge. If this is not tropical enough for you take a stroll into the secluded Tiki atrium and listen to the soft waterfall serenade. As the sun begins to set the band takes the stage – its Tiki Oasis time!

I can’t make it this year, but I’m sure it will be great.
