At the 2012 International Pizza Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada, several freestyle pizza dough throwers competed in the World Pizza Games including Japanese Kazuya Akaogi who took home the Gold Medal in Freestyle Acrobatics. Other events at the Games include: Fastest Dough, Largest Stretch, Fastest Box Folding and Longest Spin.
